A county wide assessment of training has identified that oxygen is misunderstood and misused by many providers.
This lecture will address the following: “Is oxygen the most misused medication in EMS? Do you think oxygen can’t hurt? Find out how we are harming patients with oxygen. Many myths about oxygen will be explored in this session. Participants will come away with a much deeper understanding of who it helps, who it hurts and why. ” This lecture will be appropriate for any provider that administers oxygen. 2 hours of continuing education credits will be available.
